I've already said what to do. Upload to dropbox or some other slow service that you can use over a length of time and then ask anyone - even staff - to zip them together and upload as a single submission for you. We can combine that with your existing submissions. If none of the staff want to upload it I can automate it on my end easily enough.
But, won't this be the same as I'm doing right now? Both procedures will take the same amount of time and effort for me (i.e., uploading, plus minor extra work).
You'll just need to create mosaic screenshots similar to the link I posted and itemize the model names to go in the authors readme/notes section. If you can't make screenshots then it can uploaded without and make a thread asking for someone to put it together for you.
Here, it's requiring additional time and effort which is not affordable by me at the moment. The way I'm doing right now seems just fine and proper, short and simple method.
Once again, like I said before, you wasn't aware of the actual fact.
Credits to Valve for HL2/CSS/L4D would be required as those are what you've been uploading.
Here, I have mixed models available, they all were given to me by someone.
What I'm doing now is, redistributing them simply as anyone would do.
To explain further and clear some negative claims people have against me, all the models are definitely not Valve's property.
Yes, I agree that majority of them found to be are, but not all.
The person who sent me these models didn't tell me about their author(s) or anything, he just sent me these.
Therefore, I'm simply doing all the work on my end (taking screenshots, providing proper credits, descriptions, installation instructions, etc.) as according to the site rules.
And when it comes to crediting, why should I simply credit Valve when I told you that I don't know their author(s)? I don't know what you're expecting from me, but honestly, I can't accept this that all the models I have are definitely Valve's property.
Try to understand in a positive way, Logan, please. I have nothing against you or the site, I'm not hurting the site or anyone, rather supporting the site in a way.
If the individual models is an issue for you, as I said before, I have discussed about this with Mini
, he didn't disallow me from this.
You may discuss with him about this if you want.
Plus, I'm packing similar models in a single package already. Examples are here
The only thing which disappointed me is the sudden gag.
Even if I was deserving a gag, you should have warned me at least once, but you didn't warn.
As for profile messages and submission posts, I was very well aware of them, but as I said before, i didn't feel the need to reply them, I was updating the credits when I was getting known of the authors.
Thank you, hope you understand my situation.
