Three Games, for One Game

A Forum Thread for Garry's Mod

I've never understood why there's a:
GMod 11
GMod 13
and a normal "GMod" section on the site, when there's so much overlap between the three.

The GMod 9 section I can understand being a separate section, as GMod 9 is a wholly different animal than post-mod GMod, but these sections are more or less the same.

The GMod 11 section only contains several threads and an add-on labeled as a "tool", while the GMod 13 and standard have so much overlap between the uploads, that there's a moot point to having them segregated.

Is there any reason to have them split off? Considering that GMod 13 has been in full release for over 5 years now, and I'm still seeing recent uploads to both categories, I feel like it would be easier to combine them.
