Crowbar (decompiler and compiler) problems

A Forum Thread for Team Fortress 2

Animation makers or modders always use the software "Crowbar" for decompiling and compiling models. I use that too and I have some problems with it, can someone help? Okay so I was making a mod (not meant to be added here because of Overwatch haters) and when everytime I compile the player animation .qc file, it will always work but when I go to the selected path to where it should be, it will not be there.. can somebody help me please?

If it's just compiling, you could use a batch compiler instead. Also consider the option the compile failed.

If you're using Crowbar to execute the compiling command, check whether you have the "Output Folder" option enabled or not. If it's enabled, it won't be output where $ModelName says it should be compared to the game's file structure, and will instead be put somewhere else after it has been compiled.
