Cubemaps not working

Aaaaaaand now I have another problem.

I have env_cubemap entities placed correctly, the map's sealed off, and I go through the procedure of building the cubemaps correctly, but the cubemaps still don't show on reflective surfaces. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    I don't know if is it the problem, but in Half-Life 2, I had the same problem... The problem (if I have correctly understand it) is that after the SteamPipe Update, the cubemaps are built, but instantly remove and their are not "write" in the .bsp. The thing to do is : - You compile your map - You open it with PakRat (or VIDE for me) and you remove all files which are labeled "Texture" - You launch the game, you run your map - Type "mat_specular 0" in the console, then enter - Type "buildcubemaps" in the console, then enter - Once is it finish, quit the game - Re-launch the game, type "mat_specular 1" - Run your map. Now it should works But it's only supposed to works. With me, it don't work (or maybe I do something wrong ??). So I have download a mod (BM:S), and I build the cubemaps here (because it's a mod, the SteamPipe Update is not apply)... I hope you have understood... And don't forget, Google is your friend !!

    Can you tell me which method "did the trick" ?? I have re-try to build the cubemaps and the first one doesn't works for me...

The method you shared with me (though order I did it in was a bit different, though not by much). I recompiled the map in Hammer, deleted the files labeled "Texture" with Pakrat, and saved it. Then I did the rest in game (sv_cheats 1, load up the map, mat_specular 0, buildcubemaps, mat_specular 1), and after that the reflections worked. .w.

    Ok...I have re-try my and "your" method, and it still don't work... I must download a mod only for build cubemaps... SteamPipe, I hate you !!
