health tweak limit ?

im tweaking the damage and health of the monsters using the skill.cfg... but it seemed i can twist the enermy health to a magnitude... is there a way to set the limit of health monsters can have ? cos zombies can only take 4 shots in the stomach while i estimated the zombies should be able to take 10 shots with 500hp.... and even when the zombies supposed to have 1500 hp, it stil went down in 4 shots.... i tried tweaking damage on monsters, but the shot counts is still same.... is there a way which i can tweak the health of the monsters ? like the mega monsters having 5000 hp in svencoop...

    Yeah I did that sometimes but having the need to bring a NPC with you all the game through can be very annoying.

    He opens some doors and solves a few puzzles but mostly you can just leave him at the beginning of a level and go retrieve him whenever hes necassary. Kate in Azure Sheep was even easier I left her at the loading point of each level and just ran back for her later... Peace!:cool:

    Well I haven't played the patched version that fixes the hitboxes (when I played the first full mod release the zombies etc. didn't have damage multipliers in the head etc. so every shot was the same) but in the first version it took at least 2-3 clips of the 1911 to kill a zombie. Which was good because the 1911 was the only weapon barney had. Barney is your backup through most of the game and you lose if he dies because he flies you between missions and stuff. Besides the Zombies are only there as fodder for the chainsaw! You just have to sweat out the earlier levels til you get one. What I did was lure zombies toward a desk or ledge, jump on their heads, and bash em with the machette til they fell. Took awhile but didn't waste any ammo.;) Plus the M-60 was great for mowing them down!:m249: Peace!:cool:

    Is it just me or does this mod have a highly overpowered pistol?

    the 1911 pistol is from HOE, it actually does more damage than a m16 round.... and i like to charge around with it, cos it is powerful.... and the m16 and ak are shitty like hell... i will get a m60 and nothing less...

    When I play games, I like to call myself a heavy gunner. When you see me you will hear my footsteps and see the muzzleflash. Then you are dead. If we played Flashpoint Every bush you see could be dangerous, it can have a Dragunov, M21 jungle, SG 550 or a M-60 MG. So fear me.

    I must've been coding too much. I haven't been to those new arcades. I only been to those old ones. Ones which doesn't seem to import new games. Such as the one in Ginza Plaza.

    a clip (7 rounds) from the 1911 should finish the zombie... house of the dead 3 has arrived, i played it in my nearest arcade.... 2 player, and you got a heavy plastic shotgun... pump to reload... hmm, im from singapore, it is already very common in arcades .... and forgot to mention, heart of evil have too many bullshit routes that can confuse players... the overall impression is not good... the m16 do too little damage and spill too little blood.... try using the sniper rifle.... the weapon looks sux, animation is not nice LOL... i would prefer a CL of Evil...

    Hardcoding the health means that there is no way to change the enemies' health. And I have added a CVAR to Beta 5. Wherever it is. And The House of The Dead 3 has arrived?

    I dont like the hardcoding either. Better if its softcoded, that way no one complains about monster health.

    Man and I thought I was bored...:D Tried Heart of Evil? That was a cool survival horror sp mod. Zombies had alot of health and could really take a beating from any weapon. Even with Headshots they could still take 2-3 clips from M-16 or Ak-47. Thats why the Chainsaw ruled!!:m249: Of course that was before Foolish-Mortal patched it to make headshots count...*O.o Peace!:cool:

    do you mean the healths cant exceed a certain limits ? if it is pls dont hard code.... cos i really want to put myself up against zombies with 10000 healths... as well as apache that took hell load of awp rounds... and punch lots of leads into the monsters.... then make weapon as lethal as real... e.g: 2 shots from mp5 and KO... 1 buckshots and KO... remember: NPC which weapons is as lethal as real (swat 3) aliens which do heavy damage and take lots of gunning (AvP2) zombies which is as hard as resident evil (the movie) in the movie the zombies can take a whole clip from the g36 carbine and remain unfazed.... headshot is the only cure (100 times damage i will set) but human will be as vulnurable as reality, bullets kills and they are no match for aliens and zombies... and i wanna see if i can survive that horror.... cos i completed RE2 5 times upside down and any way round and RE3 15 times over and over.... the house of the dead 3 is not my worthy opponent (defeated it already) and gun survivor makes me sleep.... i can dance with dinos in dino crisis 2 and fool with zombies in RE games as well as making nemesis chasing me like mad but never get me... half-life, opposing force, blueshift.....any sp horror mod is done... so i really wanna take a usp and charge through a mission impossible....

    Isn't the health hardcoded in CL Beta 4.3? Beta 5 should fix it. Wherever it is now.
