i seemed to found a quite useful way of model replacement...
e.g: your ak47 is m16a1...
but there is no w_ or p_ model...
dont worry, just download a m16a1 for m4a1 and rename
the p_m4a1.mdl and w_m4a1.mdl to p_ and w_ak47.mdl...
you only need a v_ model which is fitted for the gun
the rest of the model is interchangable...
note: dont take a m4a1 and ak47 and replace both of them with
m16a1 (or simillar case)
cos if the w and p model is same... how are you going to
recognise the guns on the floor during a game...
and avoid using same sound for 2 weapons...
(u wont know what the enermy is using)

It is impossible unless this trick works.
You see, they have putten a big strain on thoose weapons, don't ask me why happended before I got in on playing CS.
If you play with bots or you are the hoster. open listenserver.cfg in you CS directory and add this line: Mp_consistency 0 That should disable some checking but if it is bigger than the hitboxes this can't eitehr solve it. Then you must live with or kill goose man and steal his source code to redo it. ;)
You might have to ask Sweeper. All I'm good at is converting p_*.mdl to w_*.mdl. And I seem to have forgotten that skill.
And CS doesn't seemed to accept high-poly SG550 and UMP.45 pee models. The rest is okay.

Hell yeah, I had to make a W from V model. but W to P should go easier.
Just to move it, create a new _idle animation and we are set.
It's easy, I can do it with 1.5.7 which I have a cracked version of.
A gun was missing theese P and W once.
So I spent the rest of the day making some... Problems all the way. I couldn't get the scale right. So I found out that the scale in the .qc file was set to 1.0 while my model was at 2.0
:p Stupid me, forgot to alter the damn .qc!
