After working for a while, I managed to recreate the original aspect that it used to have before the OrangeBox update, when the GooInGlass shader was not fully deprecated.
I made the "metal part" of the diffuse map consistent across the texture, repaired the gap at the normalmap which made it not really seamless, made the two cubemaps compatible with HDR, created a seamless diffuse map for these who wants to use it as just liquid flowing across, and wrote different VMTs for such use and the "glass part".
On this pack you will find:
-The default gooinglass VMT, as it used to be.
-gooinglass_fluid, for these intended to be combined with the glass part in order to recreate the original effect.
-gooinglass_glass, which are the glass itself.
Sadly, I failed to fully restore into the aspect it used to have at the HL2 Leak, as currently on retail there's no default shader that can handle both displaying a moving normalmap only at the transparent area of the texture and make it display under it.
Valve made those, so I only take credits to fix stuff. Feel free to use them on your mods and further improve them.
