51 DEV Bright Colour Range Textures W/ BUMPMAP

A Texture Mod for Source Engine

51 DEVELOPER TEXTURES. IN COLOUR NOW!

This is a texture pack used for Hammer Editor, and in use for source games and development. I have developed another pack similar to this, however this pack has bump map textures for use with the dev textures, to give a slightly more realistic lighting feel when using these textures. I will upload another pack without the bumpmap portion of the texture because some folks just like having the multi-coloured developer texture packs. You can use this in any hammer editor, as long as you extract the package to the correct material location.

Depending on the game you are editing for, or using these textures for, you will need to extract it to this directory:

(C:)/Program Files (x86)/Steam/SteamApps/Common/<GAME YOU WANT THESE TEXTURES IN>/<SHORTCUT FOR NAME>/Materials

If the game you are modding for is Prtal lets say, it would look something like this:

(C:)/Program Files (x86)/Steam/SteamApps/Common/Portal/portal/Materials

Day of Defeat Source would look like this:
(C:)/Program Files (x86)/Steam/SteamApps/Common/Day of Defeat Source/dod/Materials

The game you are modding for may not contain the file path Materials in its game subfolder and in this case you will need to create the folder materials, and then extract the contents of this zip to that location. Thanks again and be on the lookout for my other dev texture packs. If you have downloaded a previous texture pack from me, this will still run correctly and properly, however the confusion on the hammer screen may become constant and a strain and i would recommend deleting the previous version or modifications of these textures before downloading to reensure the load order isn't messed up. Still a WIP in my opinion, for i'd like to get a lot more ranges f developer textures with bump maps, just because I do like that effect in the right lighting on maps etc. Be on the look out for future updates!

NOTE: WITHIN THIS FILES I HAVE INCLUDED A .BSP FILE SHOWING MULTIPLE BLOCKS IN TWO LIGHTING LEVELS WITH THE TEXTURES. THE .BSP FILES IS LOADED FOR DAY OF DEFEAT SOURCE AND WILL NOT PROPERLY WORK RIGHT WHEN LOADED IN OTHER GAMES TO SHOWCASE THE MAP. IF YOU LOAD THE MAP PLEASE EXTRACT IT TO YOUR DODS MAPS DIRECTORY AND THEN YOU WILL B ABLE TO RUN THE MAP TO SEE THE TEXTURES IN GAME.
