A special forces replacement for NPC's based on the HGrunt entity
First thing to make clear is that this was NOT designed as a replacement for the standard marines (hgrunt) in Half-Life: it was designed as a replacement for the special forces in the mod Azure Sheep. However, as it is based on the hgrunt model, it can be used in a variety of mods as a replacement for other models based on the hgrunt entity, including the original Half-Life - that's why its been put under this game. It does not work as a replacement for the Opposing Force marines. As it was designed for Azure Sheep, the model uses a Berretta 96 instead of a SPAS-12. The model works a treat in Sven Co-op, I'd recommend using it to replace the friendly marines (fgrunt) in the mod.
On getting screenshots just today, I noted that the model had some flatshading problems, specifically on the second head. This wasn't there when I first compiled this, I can only put it down to updates to the GoldSrc engine since I made it. Its not a major issue in any case, it only affects the beret on one head.
A view model and world model for enhanced versions of both Azure Sheep's Beretta and pulse rifle are included. The install is set up for Azure Sheep, but you can easily move the file "spforce.mdl" to another mod and rename it appropriately to get it to work in that mod.

This model is old, the earliest versions of it had to be back in 2004 or 2005 at least.
There are no facial animations, sorry. This was put together before they became more widespread with HGrunt modding, so the skeleton doesn't support them.
Its the other way around. I made this model and later they were used in the Azure Sheep Super Definition Pack. I'm creditted in it. Read the preamble of the install program:
