You know, I don't think there was need of the AI Upscaled 4X textures, CS:S stock textures are just fine the way they are, especially with guns.
As for other things like the use of Phong in the desert eagle's material, it's okay but you really need to know what's the best phong parameters for the deagle or future weapons you will be including it.
Playing with $phongboost and $phongexponent is an excellent idea for improving your knowledge about how phong actually works, just remember:
The better the normalmap is, the better the shaders will be.
Including multiple versions of the retexture is a good idea for recolor mods, oh and actually this is just a mixture of Retexturing with Recoloring since you have replaced the handle's texture instead of keeping it stock.
I don't see any problems with the submission profile, the attributes are right and credits are okay. The thumbnail is simple and makes people's eyes to look at the mod and click on it.
Conclusion & Flaws
There's nothing special about this mod aside from the upscaling which was completely unnecessary in my most sincere opinion. Although recoloring mods for Guns aren't around these days as they were back on, so I'll give you that credit, anyways good job for the effort.
