Here are some Combine Soldier replacements I've been working on the past few days, it started with a basic soldier ~inspired~ by the Half-Life: Alyx trailer, but then I ended up just doing up these instead. Funny how those things go. Has compatibility with the cool glowing eyes the MMod combine have, too. You might've been able to tell with the images being taken in it, heheheheh.

Many small updates and optimizations, most notably stuff on the elite. -Most up to date version!
Hello, I'm trying to modify these combine soldier skins in order to make camouflaged skins, but I can't really figure out all the textures. In fact, I modified the chemsuit_bm_soldier file, but it resulted in a texture error (purple and black squares).
Damn these models are good, I really like that you got details like elite combine boots and neck guard
You might want to do something with nova prospect shotgunner, his whole body is blue but head feels like dark red which looks kinda wierd but maybe that's just case of taste Making his helmet blue would be more close to original tho
I have to say I am really damn impressed by these! It really brings a refreshing experience to fighting the Overwatch Soldiers and makes it a hell of a lot more fun.
But, they don't work with MMod unfortunately... What I am saying is that, yes, they do have glowy eyes and all that in MMod, but if you encounter a large group of them and attempt to fight them, your game will just brick to a black screen.
I even tried deleting mod that I thought might be conflicting with this as my initial thought was never pointed towards these soldiers, but unfortunately, they ARE the problem. I don't know if there is some workaround for this in the future, but I regret having to tamper my heartfelt congratulations with a strong measure of disappointment. :C
Thanks for making this, it's great seeing stuff inspired by HLA and yours is the best by far. Question, do you plan to do something similar for the rebels? If not, may I have permission to use the leg and arm pads? This mod plus HLA is inspiring me to work on the rebels. Here's a screenshot of what I have so far (I really should make a WIP page). Just thought to ask now before investing too much work.
