An extremely high-res texture for the cubes in Portal 2
On a whim, I randomly decided to make an ultra-high-resolution (2048x2048) reskin pack for the modern-aperture cubes in portal 2.
All textures were made from scratch in substance painter, using the original textures as a visual reference to maintain a consistent style. They were ported to source engine using my own custom converter and a vmt editor.
The textures are not only higher resolution, but painstakingly created to be as close to the original game as i could get them- meaning that these do not change the style of the cubes; but simply enhance the style that was already there.
All skins are included: companion cube, companion cube while on button, normal cube, normal cube on button, dirty cube, dirty cube on button.
There are no dirty variants of the companion cube, as these never appear in-game.
