Texture fix
  • BugFix Fixed the Rescue Ranger from shining like polished plastic
Mugg if you're reading this, that means I managed to make your Textures have an alpha layer, even if it took me like 2 hours to figure out why they didn't work. 

But in the end, know that I managed to fix your textures (I haven't touched them, just added an alpha layer in Photoshop).

Also I'm now going to try and find out why the festive FJ doesn't eject shells from the correct side.

Remember the first attempt I've made to update the shell ejection position made by Zombie Mannequin (IIRC)? Well, I sort of forgot about it, because a few things held me back from finalizing the new version:
  1. It broke Gun Mettle/Tough Break/Jungle Inferno/Smissmass 2017 war paint compatibility (only on the Panic Attack and Reserve Shooter
  2. I couldn't get the Frontier Justice slide from working (the kind of small details that matters for me)
But this time, thanks to Newguy111's fixed ejection port, I could finally finish my project, I'm going to mark my old WIP as "Obsolete" (and might trash it soon since it's not relevant anymore).

Without any further ado, enjoy the version 2.0!

This fixes the Frontier Justice (didn't slide, ejected from wrong position), Reserve shooter and panic attack (both didn't slide, too plus ejected from the wrong position and the panic attack had a missing mesh, causing the classes to reload nothing into it), stock shotgun (ejected from the wrong side).

Features:
Compatible with Decorated weapon skins (Warpaints/GM/TB/JI/Smissmass 2k17 skins)
Shell is ejected from the correct side
Custom FP animation compatibility
Custom texture compatibility (if it uses the new filepaths)
Sliding ejection port


Known issues:
The shotguns' physics models are somewhat off (still working to iron out that defect)

The Rescue Ranger's texture is too shiny (missing alpha layer, don't worry I'm still working on this)

    I've fixed the (very silly indeed) blunder with the no animation file (I managed to forget to remove the animation files before packing the NoAnimation VPK), so if you installed the broken no animation VPK, please uninstall it and download the latest version.

    I just redownloaded the no animation versions of this mod and it seems to be conflicting with most of my custom animation by preventing it from working. Seems to be mostly Custom FP animation incompatible now.

    Are you going to add an alternate version where the RR doesn't eject batteries and doesn't have a eject port? Because I don't think it makes sense that it ejects batteries when it fires the batteries out of the weapon.

    Add an alpha layer without ruining the... UV map? What are you going on about? The UV map is part of the model, not the material

    Did you edit the texture with mspaint? It is missing the alpha map now (a.k.a look overly shiny).
    Also, save the vtf file as DXT5, or else the texture file will be oversized.

    Dumb question, but what does the shotgun model do exactly? Because even without the model, the shells and the ejection port work as intended.

    look I have an idea why you do not make all the files in vpk in one folder

    The eject port doesn't seem to move for pyro and for the engineer the shells have this weird physics where they pop up behind the right side of the gun.
