Very well done for something that takes me a minute in Photoshop (change layer color, set blending to Overlay, Hue or Color)
When most people do color overlays, they just select the entire layer which results in any gray bits being slightly tinted. People can't seem to grasp the concept of using the free form selection tool to select only the bits you want to recolor, and making those bits into a new layer that you recolor.
When I was on the dev team for a Facepunch project, "TF2C", that was the biggest issue I had with whomever it was who was designing green/yellow team skins for Engineer buildings and such. They were color overlaying the whole texture and it looked like shit.
