Tried to make the render and screens as high resolution as I could, but wasn't easy considering the size of the sights in-game.
Not the most fantastic thing in the world but it changes the SKS significantly enough to make it a bit more useful.
No More Room in Hell is generally a dark-setting game. In before the SKS's bayonet got nerfed, it was the best weapon in the game (smashed heads with a single well-placed shove attack) and as such I wanted to make it more effective in dark settings. Been using it myself for little over a year now, decided to make it public.
Various models of the Siminov SKS come with flip-up nightsights by default, although apparently not on this one.
This small project was my first experience with making small parts of a texture self-luminescent, and it really helped with my understanding of the VMF syntax way back when. Even so it took about 3 or 4 tries, especially since I didn't have Blender at the time.
