    fat and smoothing errors.

I guess <:3 i just do these from time to time, i don't do models all the time now anymore :3
You can fix the smoothing errors :P

The thing is, how exactly? :P i don't really know what this "smoothing" is, i'm not an expert :I

I don't know what do you use, but if you're using blender just apply Edge Split modifier and uncheck edge angle.
I do use Blender,  thanks for telling me :3

Is it supposed to have this?

Here's a quick guide on how to fix smoothing errors in Blender:

    1) In edit mode hit the space bar and type "Seams" then select "seams from islands"

     2) Select one of the Red edges that will appear using the edge selection tool

    3) Shift+G ---> Seams

    4) Once all the seams are selected press CTRL+E and then Mark Sharp

    5) Use Edge Split modifier and uncheck "edge angle" option

I probably did something wrong, but i followed what you said. Now the turret is still, it won't move in the model viewer. Sorry about this <:3

EDIT: Nevermind, i just had to have the WHOLE thing selected, so i did the rest just like you said :3 i hope i did it!

How am i supposed to know i succeeded?

Just tested them in-game, they don't move....*sigh* so cruel :(
So did it work ? i don't see how fixing smoothing errors affect the vert groups.

    This is what i do.

No no no, you select the mesh in object mode, go into edit mode, deselect everything by hitting A, space > seams from islands > shift + g > seams > ctrl + e > mark sharp > modifiers > edge split

I guess that's all i have to do? nothing after that? these are screenshots in-game i took after what you told me. This time you didn't say uncheck edge angel, but that's probably because you said that already <:3 I'm a little dumb sometimes :P oh...
    Looks much better, nice job.

Here's the other model, i did the exact same thing.
    Hey there :3
