    Very nice skin! The origin is a bit too far away and the animations are all in all pretty decent. 9/10 great release, been waiting when this model would be used and I am very pleased with the way that it came out.

More on the topic --------- Nice release Vagrant, though I though that I might aswell mention some things about the shaders. To begin with you have to take into account that the textures were not intended for source so some manual tweaking might have been handy, for instance; transferring some of the details of the specular onto the diffuse map to give it some more definition. Even though its just a slight difference it could have the potential to look a lot better! Moving in for some more in-depth information about correct source shading. For example I noticed right away that you didn't set up the rimlight correctly, the code in your vmt. $rimmask 1 Becomes obsolete if their is no actual mask in the exponent/gloss maps alpha channel, actually I might as well cover all of the different channels in the exponent map. As you've probably heard before the **Red channel** is the gloss maps location, this is were you put your gloss map. This is the main feature of the exponent map which is why some like to refer it simply as the gloss map instead of exponent. The **Green channel** of the exponent map is home to the $phongalbedotint mask, it's commonly known as an obsolete feature in the current source build that cs:s relies on though there are ways to make it work. For example, the Spectre M4 The **Blue channel** is currently unused, it should be filled with black. The **Alpha channel** of the exponent map is the rimlightmask, this is where you usually put a slightly changed specular map (which masks of which areas to be affected) Even though rimlight adds a nice effect it relies on ambient light from the envmap instead of direct lightning. It creates a permanent light instead of a dynamic one. So avoid using it on metal, leave it instead to cloth/flesh which usually has a slight rim on it. One another thing I'd like to mention before I conclude this message about shaders: _seperate the phongmask and envmapmask!_ It creates a huge difference when working with different materials, so instead of. $normalmapalphaenvmapmask 1 use this $basetexturealphaenvmapmask 1 Its not common that people use this kind of shading, which is a shame since it makes huge difference! ps. refrain from using $phongtint, it creates a nice effect though it limits what phong really can do. Let the difference colours on the lights in the map decide the tint of the phong instead of the VMT, a much more versatile solution. A nice release overall, just a slight input on the shaders. e: if you feel like learning more about how to get albedotint to work in sound; send me a message on steam.
