    > Well, placing it directly in cstrike no longer works due to the Steampipe update, so all skins need to be in the Custom folder in order to work properly. However, the Custom folder has two different methods for installing skins; the .VPK method, and the "loose file" method. The .VPK method is the easiest - if it's a .VPK file, just drop it into the Custom folder and launch the game. The "loose file" method requires a sub-folder to be made inside of the Custom folder, which is where you drop the contents of a skin archive (like this one) into that sub-folder. Since this skin has a 'models' and 'materials' folder inside of the archive, you just drop those two folders into that sub-folder. It should work after that.

    > On a small side-note though, you shouldn't have dropped the skin's files into the cstrike directory itself. Since CS:S no longer properly supports skins like that, you may have ended up breaking your game by mistake. If you have any maps, skins, and/or server-related content you want to back up (so as not to have to hunt them down and re-download them again), I'd suggest backing them up and then deleting the cstrike folder entirely. After that, re-launch the game to have it rebuild that folder for you. You should be able to re-install your backed up files after that if you did this properly.

I should just drop right no make a folder inside the models folder to put t_geurilla vmt and vft files right and no renaming the folder in which marerial and model is stored in

Well, placing it directly in cstrike no longer works due to the Steampipe update, so all skins need to be in the Custom folder in order to work properly. > It didn't work because you didn't install the skin propely, there's no need to re-arrange the files to make them easier to understand than it already is. The way this skin is currently set up has it using the "loose file" format, meaning it's not packed as a .VPK archive. In this case, you need to do the following steps:
    >
    > 1. Go into the Custom folder (X:/.../Steam/Steamapps/Common/Counter-Strike Source/cstrike/Custom). This is where you need to be to install mods for this game now.
    >
    > 2. Make a new sub-folder (label it something like Vaas\_arctic\_skin if you like) in the Custom folder. "Loose file" format skins require their own sub-folder within the Custom folder in order to work properly.
    >
    > 3. Drop the materials and models folders from inside the downloaded archive into that new folder you just made. Do NOT place the files directly in the custom folder or the cstrike directory - they must be within this (or a similar) sub-folder you just made whenever a mod is using the "loose file" format.

I tried what u said first i just draged them into the folder than in game the artic avanger was invisible then i cut and paste the files inside the model folders into a new folder there i name T_artic But still not working

It didn't work because you didn't install the skin propely, there's no need to re-arrange the files to make them easier to understand than it already is.
