Due to some backscratching, portal jumping, and headcrabbing scenarios, The project has undergo some setbacks. But **NOW** It's coming, the total revamp of the entire animation of the mod --------------------------------------------------- Black Mesa ========== ---------- Videos : Not yet ready . . . To install : - Navigate to you Black Mesa directory (usually in Steam/steamapps/sourcemods/BMS/) - Copy the BMS folder, to your installed directory of Black Mesa. - Copy the things that you wish to be used inside the game (Unfolded stock, Original hand grenade, etc.) - Navigate to your Steam/steamapps/sourcemods/BMS/scripts/ - And open the game_sounds_manifest.txt - And then add the following line under "precache_file" "scripts/npc_sounds_SurgeryBot.txt" : "preload_file" "scripts/sound_weapon_Gluon.txt" "preload_file" "scripts/sound_weapon_Satchel.txt" "preload_file" "scripts/sound_weapon_Gauss.txt" "preload_file" "scripts/sound_weapon_Grenade.txt" "preload_file" "scripts/sound_weapon_RPG.txt" "preload_file" "scripts/sound_weapon_Crowbar.txt" "preload_file" "scripts/sound_weapon_Crossbow.txt" "preload_file" "scripts/sound_weapon_SW29.txt" "preload_file" "scripts/sound_weapon_glock.txt" "preload_file" "scripts/sound_weapon_M4.txt" "preload_file" "scripts/sound_weapon_spas12.txt" All Fixes should be inside the archive...   • Okay. This mod is awesome and all. I absolutely love it. BUT, I have a maaaajor problem with this pack.

    Upon installing and using for a while, the game starts to crash very frequently starting in Surface Tension, and raising concerns starting with Questionable Ethics.

    I don't know, maybe this pack is for the retail version and not the mod version, but yes, I've tried reinstalling BMS from a fresh installer and then installing this pack, to still get frequent crashes in Surface Tension. These crashes are most commonly inability to load lump 8, "hl2.exe has stopped working", and, less commonly, Failed to lock vertex buffer in CMeshDX8 crashes, with the generic Windows crash message tracing the fault to various DLL modules that are good and not corrupted.

    Yes, I've tried verifying Source SDK 2007 cache, and even reinstalling it, to no dice either. The only pack I can use from you guys is the improvement pack, which works flawlessly. Shouldn't be my system, since BMS runs silky smooth with forcepreload autoexec commands on.

    Because of this, I am afraid of installing skins that replace the weapon viewmodel, with the exception of the default MP5 reanim.

    What's going on here?

About empty & semi-empty animation - you're right. Sprint animation works for me. No reload sounds - problem in **game_sounds_manifest.txt** file.
