Two simple reskins for the Dual Elites/ Dual Berettas.

A pack of two reskins for the Dual Elites/Dual Berettas. Choose from Classic Gray(Screenshots 1-5) and Ivory Special(Screenshots 6-8). Classic Gray features the good ol' Dark Gray finish and weathered textures. Ivory Special features a new Ivory grip texture and a Black worn finish. Installation: 1. Copy the materials folder of the variant that you chose and paste it in your csgo directory, which is usually located here: C:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo 2. Get Notepad++ and open up the pak01_dir file in your csgo directory. Click Search once you've opened up Notepad++. 3. Find these lines and change them to the provided edited lines. $baseTexture "models\weapons\v_models\pist_elite\m9a1" to--> $baseTexture "models\weapons\v_models\pist_elite\m9a2" $baseTexture "models\weapons\w_models\w_pist_elite\m9a1" to--> $baseTexture "models\weapons\w_models\w_pist_elite\m9a2" Click save. I'm happy you're receiving my criticism a bit better.

Anyways, to clear things up, hand-made scratches would be manually drawing out every scratch (such as using the pencil tool).

In your case, though, it seems you used a custom scratches/grunge brush set and placed them where they would make sense. That's fine, and there's nothing nooby about it (everyone does it), but just know that it's not "hand-made". I guess it can more appropriately be called "hand-placed".

And I forgot about the knife, sorry. I'm still hoping that you'll commit more to retexture work though, and that you'll transition from quantity to quality.

    > Better than the AWP skin, though not by much. You're still relying entirely on brightness/colour modding and grunge overlays/brushes (even though these are ornamental pistols).

    > You've also again went overkill on the albedo tint boosting, resulting in the phong being really low (particularly on the ivory grips version).

Thanks for the feedback, but to be honest,I didn't use a grunge overlay On this one. Those scratches are handmade. Same goes with the AWP.

And In fact, I already have something of my own, It's just not finished yet. Remember the knife that I was talking about?

Better than the AWP skin, though not by much. You're still relying entirely on brightness/colour modding and grunge overlays/brushes (even though these are ornamental pistols).

You've also again went overkill on the albedo tint boosting, resulting in the phong being really low (particularly on the ivory grips version).

Here's what you need to know: if the phong tint is being influenced by a dark texture, the phong's brightness also scales with it. Therefore you need to compensate for this by increasing the brightness of the affected areas on the specular mask.

Oh, and the ivory grips lack detail of any sort. While detail is hard to see on ivory (looking at reference Google pics), they're still there. It isn't 100% featureless, like white plastic.

I actually had a reference pic. So, it's not really an original idea.
