How to activate special stages?

Hello, guys. Remember sonic boll 1.9? In there it was possible to activate the macguffins using a code i don't remember. But in sonic boll 1.9.2, i saw special stages. Anyone know how can i enter in the special stages?

in 1.9.2, you access Special Stages with the use of Shards, Shards are hidden in invisible blocks, or bricks, an example of one Shard location, is getting on the very first item box of 1-1, then jumping straight up, a shard will appear, grab it, and run for the checkpoint, if you collect anymore shards while already having one, they count as 1ups.
