Why aren't there any mods for the 3DS version?

This is a very good question that needed to be answered for a long time. Considering how easy modding a 3DS is and how popular it was to mod this game back in the day, where are all the 3DS mods? Same with Lost World, where are the mods for the 3DS version of that game? I have the Xbox 360 version and no pc, I have the 3DS version of Lost World though. I have no interest in modding my Xbox 360 due to how way to risky it is to mess the console up trying to figure out how to mod it. I have a 3DS which was very easy to mod with very low risk and I'm honestly saddened that none of the 3DS versions have mods.This is outrageous! It's unfair! How can you have a Sonic game with no mods? The handheld games  and other past games have rom hacks. Where are my mods for 3DS?

The format for Sonic Generations 3DS is different than the console version. The game uses TARGET.cpk which I guess is not the same as XBox or PC version.Also, there's no way to repack .amb and .cpk and no one had tried hacking Sonic Generations for the 3DS too. :(In short, the data is compiled in one big file and it needs to be unpack and pack to make it work. There's no method of packing them.

I would love to see some 3ds stages in the pc version. I think we got the sonic rush level; but imagine the big arms battle or mushroom hill in the pc version.It would probably take a lot of coding, I just wonder how much from the 3ds version is compatible (if it even can be) with the pc version. That and you wouldn't need to repack the files if you're moving it to PC.I'm sure if you can unpack the 3ds big arms model you could use it to replace; say metal sonic in the boss battle as an experiment.

They're completely different games, made by different companies and developers for different systems. It's not that simple.

I think is because PC X360 and PS3 are more moddeable than the 3DS Version?
