Dynamic music? - A Question for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Dynamic music?

What are the possibilities of introducing dynamic tracks to the game? I’m thinking along the lines of the Street Fighter song(s?) that change to Type B when a player is on last stock.
I don’t know exactly how they’re addressed, would that be a parameter in the game’s music list, or a configuration with the track itself?
Additionally, would it be possible to introduce new events for the song to change, or would that require file addition?

For reference, the specific idea I had that lead to this question was the Age of Calamity Molduga theme; I wanted to implement a track that would start with the first phase’s arrangement, then transition into the second phase’s on last stock. Potentially, the weakpoint arrangement occurring on a shield break. (I also considered parrying, but that would get kinda silly kinda quick.) Ideally, one that transitions back into the appropriate phase after a loop, so as to mitigate potential shenanigans with multiple shield breaks in an actual match.
But, as indicated by this post, I have no idea how much of this would even be possible with the current control over the game.

Thanks in advance. =)

This is already a vanilla function in the game, no? The original Street Fighter tracks have this function as well as some Mario and Splatoon tracks. This is all done by the special_category parameter in ui_bgm_db.prc. The conditions for the hash assigned to this parameter are hardcoded but we can reuse them for other BGMs. Not exactly sure if it works on other stages, though. Dynamically changing music upon shield break and such isn't possible by simple means but it is through code mods.
