A while ago I recreated the hl1teleport.mdl from Half-Life 2's intro. This is completely made from brushes (184 in total) I recreated it for the sole purpose of replacing the old anti-mass spectrometer from Half-Life: Source. I could've remade the props again but in pieces instead of one big chunk like the original model, but if you really want to go ahead. 

UPDATE: Includes optional models.

I was truly debating if the credit should go to me at all, but the couple of hours that I spent on this say otherwise. Please credit me if you use this in your projects I would really appreciate it!

    That is in fact what I did. The brushes can easily be ported over to Goldsrc, no so sure about the texture. The map I demonstrated is built in Half-Life: Source. I used it to demo the HD/LD skins I made (as you clearly can see). 

    I don't know when I'll upload the map(s). I've been working on a huge project by myself. I've seen others attempt the project and fail terribly. I haven't made any info public about the projects existence. The project is essentially building HL:S from the ground up on one of the newer Source Engine builds. This means every asset is being redone completely, even the level design.

    This isn't your "Black Mesa: Source". This is what Half-Life is SUPPOSE TO BE in Valve's envisioning.

    Long ramble, but I've been working on assets such as the anti-mass spectrometer for the past 6 years. I've already got 75%+ of recreating Blue Shift and Opposing Force along with Decay.

    This long ass ramble is the only publication of the projects existence and I may in fact remove it if need be.

    You are correct, They found an easy model already within HL2 files and they did indeed use it for a short while in the early 2005 builds.

    EDIT: The second image shows it in my map.
