I always thought this weapon looked a little bit off, so I decided to edit its textures and materials to improve its quality!

    Important announcement:

    Unfortunately, I will not be able to include the Direct Hit's Phong Mask in this mod. I tried everything to make $envmapmask work, but it seems to be either deprecated in TF2 or it just does not work with $basemapalphaphongmask enabled. Instead, I'll be placing the environment mask on the base texture's alpha channel and use $basealphaenvmapmask to reduce the amount of VTFs used in this mod.

    It seems that the only way for it to have both a phong mask and a reflective scope is to edit the original model, which is beyond my ability. At that point, I would just make a high poly Direct Hit.

    You ought to re-export you texture file in DXT5, because since you exported to DXT1, it got rid of the alpha mask embedded on the texture. You can check this by opening the vtf with vtfedit, select view, then mask. The texture should become partially transparent when this is done.

    P.S also you may want to upscale the normal to half the size of the the texture, so 1k.
