To an extent, I love dark eldar, but those pesky psy-xenos craftworld aren't always a walk in the park to beat
Well, for my ratlings, I just use my fluff and doctrines to make models that people will accept for ratlings. What I mean is, I use chem-inhalers, and per the rules, ratlings are forced to wear them. Think about this for a second- the chem-inhalers make one inhale chemicals. Now, a normal guardsman will be able to stomach these chemicals because of their size and build, but those puny ratlings are so short... it's bound to mutate them. I think you can guess where I go from here >:D
You use the ratling models? Convert them man, those models suck IMHO
I need to make the time to go out to the hobby shop and grab myself one, but I heard some of the new stuff. Already mentioned my hate for annihilation, but some of the other stuff sounds cool- like gimping craftworld eldar 8D
Oh wow, I didn't hear that! 40 points for an infantry squad?
Also, whats good about 5th ed. is that there's going to be alot more things counted as cover, so Light infantry + camo doctrines will be amazing!
That'll fill in the 20 points for the infantry squads though XD
The new rule book coming out features a mission called annihilation (I think) in which each army has 'kill points'. Kill points are usually tanks and certain units, and the army who has killed the most KPs in the standard 6 turn game wins. I'm just saying this is bad for DE and IG because they will have around 19 KPs as opposed to say Eldar with 6-7 KPs.
Also, the new DE and IG codex are being released after the SM etc. ones, so we're going to have a hard time adapting to the 5th edition rule book
Yeah, eldar are nasty with their warp powers and whatnot, and DE hit fast and hard :P
I hate how IG and DE are getting hit with the kill points mission in 5th edition, the two armies i have come to know and love :(
