    I'm going to be putting out a WIP on the Combat Units XLS Dai wrote, just feedback mostly and a discussion point for the MET ones. Anyways point is I'm going to suggest we start with the MET and Rubble character models and move from there, go progressively through how they'll appear. For this reason I'm wondering can you sideline the MetroPol constable? Or whatever follow ups with ARIA you might have planned. Players aren't going to meet them till right end game, they're not high priority whereas we need the MET models ready sooner. I have two soft surface modellers waiting for concepts and since we haven't done enough there I think the focus should be on the MET and Rubble, clear up the concept and get some profile shots for those guys

    I've been spreading feelers out to pterosaur websites but this is part of the reason Lost wants to make the releases. Once we have a dozen or so releases it makes compelling evidence of th mod being thought out and having dedicated members, these are important if any hope is to be had of gaining more talent. Machinery and vehicles are easier actually, they're just basic hard surface. Organic is a different toolset but it's not top of my priorities at the moment, it's something that is not critical (neither is weapons really but they are too integral to aesthetic to ignore). Main worry is weapons take so long to produce with few members and we want to take the time to produce in high quality (which means making sure they're up to standard), it's not good to set the bar too high, just discourages

    No the powers were removed by an update at some point, sometimes you can sometimes you can't. It's no problem, not sure when I'll get a chance to reply but I was pleased by the talk of modular weaponry, I was preparing a weapons list response which would infer a need for reduction. Fact is I'm sorry to say I'll be taking a very negative stand on additional weapons and will be seeking to reduce when the discussion comes. At skinning we're gonna hav a lot more demand than just weapons, gotta stay realistic. Still it may not be needed ad that discussion isn't here yet

    Yup. I've been doing the 'old standard, new standard' pair with the weapons list: ARIA's old standard is the Mk.16, but they've adopted the M43; the Eurasians used to use the AK-102, but the AK-215 is the new standard, with the 0006 coming in for the Naval Infantry... and so on.

    Gawd, I hate being an asshole. I'm decently competent and I know it, but sometimes the confidence gets to my head. Trust me though when I tell you my only motive is the betterment of the mod - I mean, why else would I dedicate hours to debating details that might never get outside the studio? I'm sure it's the same with you and gameripper and the others who tolerate me. We, you guys are building Megamod singlehandedly right now. Anyway, yeah - AK-215, seriously considering a detailed vector design. Of all your designs, that's my favorite. The design premise: the first true redesign of the AK-47 in eight decades. Completely synthetic, with a completely redone mechanism that solves the AK's persistent problems with accuracy and high recoil. Monolithic upper and modular lower, flattop rail, telescoping folding stock, PMAG-like waffle magazine, the works. I'll shoot you a concept sketch when I get around to it, and you can tell me what you think... it's true that I've steamrollered over your designs and concepts many times in the past (even with 'redesigns,' just an excuse to build a new gun and slip it past the mod's number-of-gun limits). I feel pretty guilty about that, so you'll be in this design loop from step one. Anyway, I'm drafting a weapons list based on that WIP earlier (almost done). I'll pop it up on the front page, but I want your and gameripper's inputs in person. I'll send you guys both a copy, and we can iron out details via PM or whatever.
