Yea I need to get the time to do it, I've been working 3 jobs, but now finally stopped working at one. So I'm going to have some more free time on my hands. I built a massive PC for design work about 4 months ago and haven't had the opportunity to truly test it yet. I should be getting back into map making soon, though I've been putting some of my free time into Black Ops 2 right now.
But I will let you know when I have some stuff to start testing. I will probably finish mission, I have the main structure of the map completed, I just have to complete all the little details of the entire map which is going to take some time to do. I will probably make another Gears map as well, maybe redo gridlock, we will see what time I have.
Though, thanks for the complements and I will try to put some more time into finishing up my work.
Thanks for your review of my ropax map. Its nice to know someone liked it (despite all its shortcomings) years later. Im afraid I dont have any other maps of the same standard, I only ever made 2: csde_cargarage and de_ropax. the cargarage map was my first, it is ok, but I only made it to learn the mapping tools. I had intended to make many more maps as ambitious as ropax, (but better due to the new expertise gained from making ropax), but ropax sucked the life out of me, and was no where near as good as I had wanted (due to the limits of the source engine compiler) and I lost the motivation. Perhaps with Counterstrike GO out now, I might get back into it some time later and make the realistic maps people like you deserve.
