A small de_dust like temple.

First map in a loooooong time :b Enjoy Goal: Eleminate the opposing team with preferably non-scope weapons since it's an aim map. Go go go ! :) Time spend on mapping: 2 hours. Time spend on compiling: 2 minutes, 30 seconds.

    It's your stopgap if you don't find no other cons. Nodraws would, and thats what lost correctly said, decrease the compiling time - but they would not change anything for the player. Maybe we are talking about 1-5 FPS here, but nothing more. And that's why it shouldn't lower your rating.

    Lets get this straight!! I am not and have not ever bitched at anyone. I'm just simply trying to give an honest assessment that will help people so there is no need for childish remarks.

    It's your stopgap if you don't find no other cons. Nodraws would, and thats what lost correctly said, decrease the compiling time - but they would not change anything for the player. Maybe we are talking about 1-5 FPS here, but nothing more. And that's why it shouldn't lower your rating.

    They do if you do the bad habit and place your entire map in a giant box for the skybox. If the skybox is made properly then those outside faces would be removed automatically with or without nodraw on their faces. That and would cut the compile time 1/4 of what it was.

    Taking the time to nodraw the outside would be about the same amount of time to construct the skybox correctly. However, simply nodrawing the outside will not improve vvis performance like a correct skybox will - and it does both to boot so the smart thing is always to spend the time on the skybox over nodrawing things which will be removed anyways.

    Jeez.. I made my skybox the way i did, so people's grenades wouldn't bump back to them when the nade hit open air.. It would look stupid

    Colors are a bit pink :P

    Pink/red = T spawn .. Blue = CT spawn.
    :) Colors aren't ambience btw
