Main St. is under attack!

This has been in development for a while now, and I think it's finally time that it is released to the public, don't you? ^_^ STORY: It's short this time around. A city in turmoil! In the process of shutting down due to contamination, local officials have left behind a bunch of employees working overtime at the storage facility across the road. Blocked in and with no where else to go, the employees must now hold out against the impending zombie horde and hope for the best. FEATURES: - 25+ areas to climb, camp, and barricade. - Breakable doors and windows that lead to new areas. - Ventilation system that connects various buildings and areas together to promote balanced gameplay. - Various secrets and surprises. - A unique, close-quarters landscape and atmosphere which is sure to get your heart racing. - Custom textures. OTHER INFORMATION: * BSP FILE SIZE: Under 4MB This map is recommended for a server of 16-24 players, but the map will support up to 32 players quite comfortably. 64 player servers are not supported as there are only 32 player spawns. 64 players was indeed tested, but it simply didn't work; the map isn't large enough to hold that many players, so support was removed for it. I worked very diligently on this map for a solid two months. I hope that my hard work shows. It took three hours straight before players even started to RTV this on my server, so I recommend you test out this map in-game first before assessing or anything, as my screenshots simply don't do it justice. The source VMF file is included in the download. This means you can open up Hammer yourself anytime to go and edit the map. Feel free to make your own versions and remixes of this map if you so desire, as long as you give me full credit for my work. As always, comments, assessments, and stamps are more than welcome. When assessing however, please make yourself clear and provide examples of what's wrong, otherwise I'm just going to think all you want are the points. Thanks and enjoy, everyone. =D

    This map's lighting is terrabad, i think you could at least add street lights that are at least off and if not that, then fix the sun, it's awful. It looks rediculous, it looks like you compiled without hdr OR vrad.
    Not to come off like an ass, but what the fuck are you talking about? I spent literally days on the lighting. It's complete with env_sun, shadow_lod controllers, and perfectly aligned light_environments. Oh, and by the way, there are street lights. Have you even played the map? This is the way lighting is supposed to look: realistic. I did everything right as far as lighting in this release, which is why I'm coming off as defensive.
    The only problem I really have with it is it looks just bland it looks (and the rest of the map btw is just incredible) but the map's lighting in my opinion could be better. If this map were real life, i could have thought i was in a different demension. Lol ; ) I have played the map by the way. 9/10 dude it's great just the lighting is throwing me off. = (
    You are of course entitled to your opinion, but you're dead wrong. =P ... glad you like the map, though. lol

    Pros: Pretty fun running and gunning map great detail. Cons: spawn is concentrated spawn should be spread also THE MAP IS TOO SMALL X.X please make it bigger there isnt enough places to hide and the places we can hide in are all obvious Improvements: make the map bigger and add more hiding spots and cade areas also add to the ambience torch some buildings blow up some cars XD Notes: we have a custom class ZM server so some of the places are easier for some zombies to get in then others... make the map bigger :D

    Im not sure how the gameplay for a zombie mod would be, but the look of the map is awesome. the only real thing i found that u could improve was that the bushes in front of the gate are really square, not a big thing.

    Pros: cool Look, great atmosphere (there are a lot of decals on a small room, thats cool), very realistic, but... Cons: ... sometimes the realism stops (eg. the room on your last screenshot, nobody would build something like this^^; or the fence in front of the tanks...); i found a little anoying glitch by this tanks ( i Stucked between the playerclip and the tanks -.-') Improvements: - Notes: The map is good, so make a bigger map, with the same atmosphere and better level borders and it will be a faboules map :D
