Jump out of the trench and BOOM HEADSHOT!

Welcome to the... trench? 0.o* Yeah! Crawl through the muddy trenchs, but keep your heads down! 'Cause the enemie is waiting for you! Use all cover you can get on your way to the opposing trench... _____________________________________ A nice small map created for player wanting to improve there aiming. Really quick gameplay is possible, so be ready for a hard fight! _____________________________________

    Nice looks overall, but the gameplay doesn't flow at all. Both teams spawn in symmetrical trenches right next to each other, and that's pretty much it.

    Upper cased i mean by your map name having BIG upper cased letter in it, for the 3dskybox i didnt mean the join in lighting i meant the join between the floors etc, you dont need a seperate light _env in both 3dskybox and world just the one will do, just make sure fog settings are the same if used in the env_fog
    _controller and the sky_camera, also you need to run buildcubemaps twice, once with HDR turned off then once again with HDR turned on this is because hl2 uses seperate cubemap files for either mode, hope this helps if you dont get anything we can talk on msn or on here

    There is a water-brush at terror spawn... but you cant see the texture o.-

    Uhmm... yeeees. I noticed that already. And the lights doesnt fit very well. (skybox is brighter although I used the same environment light settings?!)

    Nice m8 i really like it, i appreicate the effort gone into the nice screenshots, the description is ok but seen better :) nice map though

    edit : just gave it a good testing out, the idea behind the map is quite original, in fact not really seen an aim map like that before its really good, and balanced, theres a few things that could do with being addressed before this could be considered to be a final release

    firstly the displacements are quite bad in the trenchs there just to bumpy and could do with being smoothed out, also the material used sounds like water when landing on it where as it would be more approiate to be mud.

    The join between the world and the 3dskybox is quite bad, you can clearly see the road and hills dont line up with the real world, i would suggest scaling the 3dskybox back up to size rework it to fit then scale it back down remembering to keep an eye out for texture scaling is enabled.

    finally you asked in your description if any textures were missing well no there wasnt but cubemaps for HDR are missing, just to say if you didnt know, maybe you do but this is for others reading. A set of cubemaps must be compiled for both LDR and HDR these are then automatically embedded into the bsp as materials,

    oh and i dont think servers like upper cased map files could be wrong though.

    Very nice map just try to address these ideas and your in for a winner

    Pros: E V E R Y T H I N G S =)
    Cons: N O T H I N G S =0

    Improvements: may be make another version of this but change the skybox to an afternoon or morning skybox
    Notes: U really deserve a 10/10
