A Map for Counter-Strike: Source

It's deagle5 all over again.

Well, I updated quite a few things from the original power. Here is a quick list:
  • Fixes texture alignment in places
  • Optimized the pillars
  • Fixed some lighting bugs
  • Fixed the custom box texture
  • Fixed misaligned support beam
  • Players now spawn with deagle
  • Minor frame rate improvements
  • Many small other tweaks
Thank you Ruff and hacksawjack for the custom logos. To the ggn members that tested this, be sure to remove the file you have because it differs from the file I have. Thanks! Thank you to the people at GGN who gave me constructive criticism.

    I decided to give you a 10 because anything else is nitpicking. The spawn was really good, I especially liked the way you used actual spotlights and dust motes, the motes were visible ABOVE the light but this is just nitpicking. I liked the way the beams across the ceiling actually had shape rather than just being blocks. The lighting is perfect, the red at the spawns is vibrant and really stands out. I would have opened the spawn into the centre rather than coming in from the side of the main arena. (Do you know what I mean? Your spawns come in from the side, but I would have made them open into the centre of the back walls). Simply because the left wall takes longer to reach, and the sides being opposite, the other team can get the majority of the way down the side before you can reach it. The water under the grates was a very nice touch for those who notice it, and I noticed it. Texture choice is amazing, they all fit together nicely, no clashes, which is always a goal in map making. Well done on the texture scheme! The crates appear to be a custom texture, and it was nice that you included custom textures, and your signature on the wall. That was a good feature because it gave players a way to distinguish side from side. The crates gave a futuristic feel as did the rest of the map. Everything is great, I loved the ceiling, sounds crazy? Well, it actually had detail, not just a square, it had an upwards curve for the balcony, and basically, it was as detailed as a ceiling should be. 10/10 :) because I don't wanna ruin your 10 score because of spawn placement. However if spawn did open centre I think players would be less likely to just shoot down the closest route. Nice job.

    Pros: yet another amazing release.. Cons: I wish you would venture out of the D5 layout.. do some remakes of shotty or bloodarena..

    It looks really amazing. The only thing I would say is to make the lights have more colour to them instead of just being white. It could make really make a diferent sometimes and make the map look more detailed. Also maybe you could have some props around in places. Just things to add some detailed. Other than that it really is an amazing map. Great work.
