    It delivers on the name, this is a AK Aim map, there is plenty of cover for the long range shooter and also some minor cover in the middle for those who want to risk rushing ahead into the enemys base as well as the standard tower with little to no cover to snipe from.

    Textures are an assortment of dust and italy so they blend alright as they are the same contrasting type of colours,



    the skybox doesn't match too well, choose another that fits the environments theme or go with a custom one if there are no defaults that suit your tastes, just try to stay away from the default skybox, we've all seen it far too much and its bland and boring.

    Speaking if skyboxes some 3D skybox effects would go perfect here to help get rid of that boxed in feeling that these aim maps get.

    Lowering the lightmap a bit would also improve the shadow from the tower and turn all the smaller ones into nice sharp crisp ones rather than blotchy squares.

    The textures used here, while a good collection are not really applied all that well, alignment has been skipped and it seems only a few places have more than a single texture applied to a brush. Use a variety of textures on brushes to give more contrast and interesting buildings otherwise they look rushed and careless.

    Stay away from custom brush lettering, it adds a ton of triangles to the rendering of the map.



    And lastly, be sure to run VVIS on every map you make, if its taking too long then you need to optimize it more and simplify your level with func_details etc. A map this size shouldn't take more than 8-10 minutes to do a full compile.

    Without VVIS running your level has the following effect as its rendering everything at once since its not been told how to break the level into smaller chunks.

    Pros: This is a very simple, but very nicely made map. I've played similar maps like this, and I know that they usually play very well. Players have a lot of places to go to, and almost every weapon can be used. I like how you added light, that makes the map 10x better than if you hadn't. I hope to see this map on servers so that people can play it.
    Cons: Well, here are a few complaints I have of this map.
    1. Some of the textures are overused, like the wood one. You should try a variation in your texture choices, your map will look a lot better.
    2. Players cannot choose the guns they want to play with because they spawn with them. Maybe make buy zones so players can choose what weapon they want to use.

    Improvements: Fix the textures and maybe add buy zones.
