To install unzip file and place it into your folder named
Steam\SteamApps\username\team fortress 2\tf\maps
Note from author
tc_atlantic is a territorial control map (like hydro) set in a gravel mine. The blue team has suspicions that the red team is hiding something with the mine as cover.
Blue manages to take control of haft of the compound before red can organize to fight. When the game starts team red and team blue each have 2 of the 4 center control points
Credit
I must give a huge amount of credit to all the people at valve that spent 11 years making TF2. I never would have been able to make this work with out there work.
Also thanks two people who helped with spectial files for tc_atlantic.
SolisInvicti for making the overview and intro pictures
Timberghost for creating some custom models (wood framing and skybox_pine001)
Thanks to the guys at tf2maps.net for custom textures and models, and advice

has the change from uppercase to lowercase been fully propagated throughout all the internal files?
i thought i had, but after some poking around in the files i think i found the problem. i have fixed it but as of yet have no way to test it on a linux server.
i want to make sure it works before i post a fixed version. and again I'm sorry that you guys are having this problem. I will do my best to have it fixed asap.
Let me know where to get the fixed version and I'll test it on my Linux server.
Pros: The layout must have taken forever to figure out. For a custom tc map, this is probably the best one I've seen
Cons: This map really needs to be "prettied up". Everything works, but it could use better lighting, more props, less open bland area.
Improvements: Pretty much everything I said in the con area. This map definitely has potential but it feels very custom due to the lack of props, wide open spaces of nothing, pretty much the lack of detail. You need to go through and make rooms feel less empty by adding props and detail and improving the lighting.
Notes: Let me know when you update the map and I'll take another look.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having this problem. I'm just as sorry to tell you i have no clue how to fix it, but if anyone can tell me exactly what the problem is ill do my best to fix it as soon as i can
For what it's worth, a comment on another map that has crash issues (cp_cownation) suggested that it may have something to do with some sort of capitalization mismatch in whatever files are packaged in the .bsp.
Note that I was able to run tc_Atlantic_b3 on my server without issues - has the change from uppercase to lowercase been fully propagated throughout all the internal files?
