A map I put alot of work into, very fun!

A map I've been working on for a few weeks. I think its my best one so far. There are a total of 4 teleports in the map. You'll have to find them yourselves ;) Thanks to Jaj for the skybox, and m3k for the batman model :D Please assess and leave feedback!!! This is only a Beta, so updated ones will come. I think there is 44 spawns, don't trust me on it though! :P There is also a breakable floor, on the long hallway up stairs. You'll have to find that also.

    The map has a good theme to it, funny to see batman right when I spawned, was not expecting that at all heh.

    The skybox matches the levels texture choices well, however the lighting seems to be a bit off, main play areas brighter than the skyboxs lighting. Still not terribly noticable so doesn't hurt the map at all for average players unlike me, I can't help but notice everything :D

    The level contains a lot of displacements and blend textures which is a good thing, however, there are several points where you can see the backside of the displacements, moreso around Tspawn side than CT. Need to be careful with those as if a player has enough room to pass through the backside of a displacement it can drop a servers tick to just shy of zero and lag everyone out. Most of the displacement work is good, however is seems many of them are just overlapping eachother rather than sewn together which would solve a few of the visual leek problems, notibly on the roof of the center structure, from below you can see under them and through to the skybox. The overlapping displacements are really noticable when on top of the map, try doing some more work with them but design it in such a way to sew all the sides together, creates a better effect with the textures as the seams are not as noticable and smoother.

    You may want to invest in some more playerclips in the map as well since its very easy to get on top and then outside the normal play area, the existing playerclip that seems to be by the side with the gate and concrete barriers for example can then make players trapped as they can't get out from behind once they get there :P

    The layouts pretty good for an aim map, you have several paths through the middle and sides as well as a few levels of vertical play to boot. Theres not a whole lot of cover in the outside paths but thats a good gameplay mechanic as its the best way to get around and behind the other team so having a good amount of risk involved is the right way to go.

    Overall the maps got good gameplay and texture choice/theme, its only a few techicial visual things that bring down the score as well as the fact the soundscape is fairly plain and seems to be a rather constant noise, some more variation there with what you already have in your next map would do wonders.

    Still, good map, and good construction. Keep it up.

    Pros: Really good map, awesome to play against friends or bots ^^ Also, I really liked your displacements (skillz man!) It's a nice idea with the building in the middle, and batman.. lol ^^
    Cons: A few bugs with the displacements, Some wrong texture placements, at ct spawn, one of the baricade models goes into the ground.
    Improvements: Fix the texture placements and fix the baricade and you'll have one shitty nice piece of a map here! (Lol u allready have, but u know what i mean) :D
    Notes: In overall, this map is really really good and detailed, alot of work have been put into it and i love it. i managed to find one of the teleports into the tower ^^ hehe (On one of the hills :P )
