A "revolutionary" surf map that combines some elements of Team Fortress 2 with surfing and deathmatching.
Objective: Destroy the core under the main center platform to disrupt the shields that are blocking the control point. If neither team captures the control point within 45 seconds after the core is destroyed, then the core will come back and the shields will come back up and kill anyone who still remains inside the control point after a few seconds.
Possible changes for v2:
- Faster capture time - The current cap time seems fine but in some cases the round takes a while to end.
- Reflections/Cubemaps - The water isn't supposed to be black with no reflections.
Please post other possible v2 changes in the feedback!

Pros: The main surf ramp is pretty fun for surfing on, and it's easy to go fast on it. The control point adds an objective.
Cons: Most of the time it ends up being a snipe war with neither team even attempting to attack the core.
Improvements: Make the main surf ramp bigger, add speed boosts, maybe make the sniper ring rotate.
Looks good, I'll try it out tomorrow.
Edit: I tried using that core and only problem is that the core is way too skinny, especially when you're trying to aim at it while surfing. I may try scaling it up a bit to see if that works better later.

I made it so you get stuck and lose health gradually inside the capture point after a while so rounds aren't too short and so it adds a little more variety to the map. If you have any ideas on what I could use instead of that diamond thing on the bottom then post them and I might try changing it.

Pros: This was the first real surf map I played for TF2. I liked how it used the TF2 type of gameplay, unlike other surf maps that are just imported from CSS. I like the spawns they are really cool. The way the map is is pretty cool. It is like a giant toilet bowl. I think this is pretty cool and is deffinately my favorite surf map of all times. I also love the colors. It must have taken a while to get all of those paterns in.. Lots of carving and stuff.
Cons: This really doesn't have to do with how the map has cons but it is just stupid how everyone is killing each other when they are trying to destroy that middle thing, there is no point. No back on subject. I noticed a few times that people would get stuck (happned to me). When the cap point became uncapable then someone who was on the point could get stuck.
Improvements: Well, Nothing really. I don't see anything that needs to be changed. Well, I think the bottom thing that you must destroy should be changed. I had something else inminde. Didn't really like the idea of a spinning diamond thingy.

I wish people would stop assessing my maps and giving them low scores because they don't like surf maps on tf2. Please just give me an honest opinion with pros, cons, improvements and a more reasonable score.
I made surf_complex but it was never really meant to be released due to the massive amount of noobs who play tf2 surf and complain about it being too hard (this was a long time ago). In development the jail was made as a seperate map so I hosted it on my server every now and then and people seemed to enjoy it more than the original map with the surf. I made surf_revolution to make it match the tf2 feel better and make other improvements so overall it could be much more fun.
