Pros: Loads of cool features and countless numbers of ways to reach control points.
Cons: No more portal room?
Improvements: None - the portal room was mainly for spawn camping anyway :\

Pros: The upper area in A, The lower area of A with the elevators. No sentrys can be built in spawns
Cons: Pretty much every other change from the last version. The new vents just aren't as much fun in the redesign, the best part of blackmesa was how long the vents were. L and C being switched around with those one way doors just don't seem to work and the new upper area where the elevators go up and down is very useless. I've played many games on the first version but stopped playing on the ego server when they changed the map to this one.
Pros: Great map. Great attention payed to detail and ambiance, especially with that green toxic water. That, my friend, is hot.
Cons: It has a damned steep learning curve. I got wrecked the first couple of times playing it, but since getting a bit more used to it, I'm doing better.
Improvements: Perhaps some more signage would be good? Generally, it's very well executed, just a bit more complicated than the norm for TF2.
Notes: This is an excellent map, and I think you deserve a lot of hearty commendations.
Pros: Very interesting map....
Cons: I'm not sure how this map would play in normal game play. there's a lot of lil platforms in over a big huge chasm which if you fall in = death.
But definitely could be fun for a once in a while type play.
Improvements: There needs to be more direction. It's very difficult to find the control points on my own when no one else is in the server so I can only imagine what it would be like when the server is full. :o
Also, I think I'd rethink the falling to your death thing.... maybe make it teleport people back to spawn if they fall off rather than kill them. Falling death is very annoying. :/
Notes: Finally.... NS? I've played several blackmesa maps but I don't remember this one. I play NS several times a week and I've never seen one that resembles this map. Must be a custom map I've never seen.
Some of you have correctly identified the map as being similar to the Natural selection combat map called Co_BlackMesa. That map was a replication of the entry area to Blackmesa in HL1. I wish I knew who the author was so I could give him props. This map was built from scratch and has incorporated other modifications that are not included in the NS version. This map also trys to unify TF2, Portal and Hl1 into one map. I hope every one enjoys it. I have a HUGE list of fixes i need to make based off a stress test last night. Some folks planted the idea that maybe this would make a good CTF map. I need to sleep on that one
