This map is of rather high quality, but unfortunately becomes impossible at one point due to a bug related to Source physics. A bridge is supposed to open up that lets you cross a death pit, but the bridge becomes half submerged, rendering the stage unbeatable.
Great map. 10/10.
There's one bug in the map that I found. If you fall into the pit under the fan in the fan room, the game crashes.

Doesn't look portal/aperture science-y at all. Mostly because of the poor lighting. Half the time, it looks fullbright, needs to be far better lit with white/cool blue tones. Also, there's too much metal, and it looks too gritty. Thoroughly examine valve maps to get the best result, as you can see they make the best of their space, instead of just, in most cases, massive wide open areas, and only use metal in certain situations I.E. only when it is completely necessary. I personally think that is what makes a good portal map.
Although I have only played a few portal maps, this map was certainly the most difficult of all. This map comprises elements distinctive from other custom made maps such as single portal challenges, custom camera effects, the rocket launchers and rebounding along with the extensive use of flinging with portals.
As stated it really did require some logical thinking and overall was a challenging enigma especially in some parts of the later puzzles.
I really enjoyed this map although it could do with more save points, especially when doing something repetitive, dangerous or difficult. Another problem was guidance so perhaps you could make the route more obvious with lights or something, although this is more of a future note than criticism.
I'm giving this map "snakepit" a 9.8 /10 for the quality but lack of save points.
