Terrorists Must defend at all Costs. Special thanks to all the beta testers at DS, and Clan Stoned. http://stoned-wvl.eu nayisdeath@hotmail.com ----------------------------------------------- Map Information :: cs_dawes has been developed around a true real world environment which is almost identical to the real buildings dimensions, and i hope you feel like your in a real environment when running around the map. Originally dawes was set to be a fight yard map but due to its size i thought making it into hostage rescue would suite much more and will hopefully reduce camping as the objective is set in the middle of the map. Now with most hostage maps we all know that Terrorists have the huge advantage, the only map i can recall where hostages do get rescued fairly often is office with dawes i went for a different approach to game play, infarct with dawes the Terrorists actually have a slight disadvantage some reasons are is terrorists start in a much brighter spawn and with the CTS having full cover of the warehouse from both ground and top shelfs and with the main office area have multiple windows it gives the CT a good advantage. Now you might say well what happens if Terrorists camp well the CTS can still attack from several angels which makes it harder. If your one of those quick players on the other hand it makes the game play a totally different objective because Terrorists have the advantage that they can quickly sneak into the warehouse and potentially flank from any angel. So things are going to really interesting. Radar Information :: I added Clear markers on the radar to show where Ladders are, there is 3 in total that take you to the top shelf! the overview however doesn't mark out the office ladder which takes you to the roof as this is clearly visible in game anyway as for the ladders which are marked on the overview these can be quite hard to find if your new to the map Nav Mesh :: The nav has been tuned by Alex. http://www.dimensionstudios.org/ Happy fragging.

    Really nice map, look great in lightning and the use of HDR. I like the enviroment and the theme. I'd say im not a huge fan of hostage maps but this will still be fun playing. Ty! /agree to poster before me, more then 2/3 of all maps played are dust2. :S

    Let's say this map is an unusual one, and CSS players usually do not like new gameplay style ;) Just look at how many people are only playing on Dust2.It is really scarry. I will ll give this map a second try ;)

    Am glad you said that gus because i really only made it a cs map to reduce camping and to direct all of the objective and players into the center of the map, i really believe if i made it a gg/fy/aim or whatever it would be really boring and people would be wondering around until the clock ticks, and the other plus side of things aswell because its cs it actually makes the map overall feel smaller because of this, i agree its huge, but its only huge if it were a camping fest like if it were to be an aim/gg/fy map, thanks for playing and thanks for all of the good or bad comments I could have gone more insane on the detail but i really wanted to keep the high frame rates
