I doubt anyone actually cares or played the original version of this map, but I released an updated version of my original aim_cruise map, this version includes a number of fixes and changes which include:
-Smoothed out all displacements (hills/bumpy terrain) to make them easier to walk on and to look more realistic
-Realigned spawn points, spawn killing is not possible now
-Added a light environment, this includes HDR
-Added a few more crates to even the game out
-Added a 3D Skybox to create a more realistic 'ocean' effect
-Removed the custom skybox from the original, and replaced it with a Valve HDR-capable standard sky
-Added a working vending machine (I was bored)
-Removed one of the islands, it created a bias for one team
Thanks to Espilon for the beach hut prefab, and thanks also to Clan Fever for the vending machine prefab. All the custom materials/models are embedded in the BSP map file (I used pakrat).
This is a fun aim map, no buy zones, pick up the weapons from around the different islands (and in the beach house) on the map. Have fun and leave a comment, tell me if I need to change anything!
