A Map for Counter-Strike: Source

This is my third map release. I just threw this together semi-randomly, like all of my maps. This one has sort of an "aztecish" feel to it, and should be good and even. This map has 32 player support, though i have not tried it with 32 bots, because my computer cant handle it, so I dont know if it will be too crowded. This map is made for the Gun Game mod, but can really be used for straight Deathmatch aswell because i have included buyzones. I have play tested it and it seemed to work fine, but if you have any issues, please let me know, so i can attempt to fix them. Please provide *CONSTRUCTIVE* criticism. ENJOY!

    Thanks for the input guys. I thought about adding some decals such as some ivy, and i actually did have rain at one point, but decided to remove it...perhaps i'll throw it back in there. As for a 3D skybox...The reason i didnt add one is because i figured no ones gonna be lookin at the skybox anyway...haha...Plus i always have trouble gettin my 3d skyboxes to work properly...I'll toy with it more...

    This seems like a solid map for sure. Layout and style of the brushwork is interesting and rather unique I must say, not many use Aztec textures. Could still use touch ups in certain areas.
    some ideas that come to mind:
    • use multiple displacements to give a smoother feel to the ground and sew them together.
    • Overlays/decals perhaps to dirty up the map
    • func_illusionary ivy brushes,
    • Rain perhaps, slightly and not overbearing only in spaces where it would naturally fall from of course
    • Some sort of 3D skybox with mountains
    just some quick things to think about, other than that you do some good work, keep at it.
