Canyon is all about three things, height, speed, and I think area control. The main thing about the map or "gimmick" is that the map is divided into three masses. Red, blue, and mid, the converger. To get from one area to another, you have to use launch pads for travel, gaining a ton of speed and height to traverse them and gain a couple of weapons and maybe a powerup along the way. Two powerups are on either side as well as a krit in the middle. Then theirs a railgun below so watch out. But um yeah took me quite a bit to get this map up and a ton of problems and snags along the way stopping me as well, like how hammer decided to delete al the entities because of 4 invalid brushes (big oof). Any who, this map will probably suck but, I think, at the very least its fun. Also sorry for my bad attempt at a cloud fog thing.
Their is now a second download that is scaled down version of canyon by .75. I'm just leaving it here to see what people think as well as feedback because I am a little bit unsure on which one is the definitive version of the map. Not only that, but I'm pretty sure most of the maps problems stem from over scaling so yeah I want to see if it is. Oh and their are small weapons switches. Any who, this is just a small addition so yeah.
