This is a new fun hostage rescue scenario map that's set in an e-corp office building with multiple levels, custom textures, and complex layout. 6-6 players on each side maximum. Overview and bot navigation mesh included (alpha). Textures are compiled into the bsp map so no external wad dependencies required. Please read the readme file inside the archive. Enjoy!
This map was the first one I've created on Linux using the J.A.C.K map editor. The custom textures were edited in GIMP, and converted with Wally (using WINE).
The inspiration definitely came from the original office map, and certain aspects and decorations are references to the series Mr. Robot. I wanted to create a grandiose structure, a little bit more life like than the original CS 1.6 maps. By doing this, I have departed from the lateral style of map making. This new multi level style is obviously is experimental, but during my play testing I quiet liked playing on the map. The nav mesh editing was arduous, and playing with bots is less fun I'd imagine. This is the only reason I am releasing this as an alpha version.
