An 100-Floor game inspired by the game 'I wanna trial the 100trap'

Well, this game is my first (and maybe the community) 100-floor style game inspired by an iwanna game - I wanna trial the 100trap.

This game is not a remake, it's just inspiration. All of the level designs are original.

I changed the height showing (** m->** F) a little bit to actually show which floor it is.

This map has many precise jumps, and some advanced moves. You need to think about what advanced move to use for certain places.

Difficulty: Each 25 floor is a difficulty bump:
1-25F: A-side
26-50F: B-side
51-75F: C-side
76-100F: D-side


Each floor has a save, but if you wanna get golden strawberry, go for it:)

BGM: Exactly the same as the original 'I wanna trial the 100trap' (A-side).

  • I have the latest versions of everything, 

    But am getting a bug in Rooms 25 and 25_cas.
    They are not cycling through the colors, they are both stuck on Green, so I had to skip those.

    Everything is pretty fun so far.

    That was a pretty fun level overall, but I have a few suggestions:
    • Floor 55 is obscenely precise for its location in the level - it's the only floor in the level I had to skip. It definitely needs to be either nerfed or moved to the last section. Floors 93 and 96 were kind of ridiculous compared to everything else too, but they're in the final 10 so it's not quite as big a deal.
    • Some of the rooms could be improved by moving the respawn point closer to the actual obstacles. Floor 95 was a particularly annoying one in that regard - I actually used Everest's debug map just to give myself a closer respawn point here, so I didn't have to walk for a full second and a half just to attempt a demodash.
    • The wall at the start of section 4 could probably be like 1/3 the height - if the player gets to that point, they've clearly demonstrated they're consistent at neutrals, so I don't think it would hurt anything to put a Badeline orb or something to go the rest of the way up.
    • The music is very inconsistent in volume. Track 1 is too quiet, track 2 is way too loud, and tracks 3 and 4 are on the loud side too. I'd recommend trying to make them about the same volume as the vanilla music.

  • This map doesn't work for me. After downloading it, opening Celeste crashes immediately. Deleting the zip file stops the game from crashing. Any idea why this is happening?

    Some technical things about your map:
    • The everest.yaml is invalid: the YAML format is very nitpicky when it comes to spaces, and you should make sure that "Name" and "Version" are aligned. ^^' Here is a fixed version: https://pastebin.com/ffDf4q7b 
    • You seem to be shipping an old version of Ruby's Entities with your map, this can cause issues for people that also have the D-sides installed. You should get the latest Ruby's Entities from the D-sides pack and check if your map still works. :)
