CW: S*icide and Allusions to Self-Harm
For best experience, make sure photosensitive mode is disabled and contort flash triggers are enabled. All visual effects are minimal and work to make teleport triggers smoother and more cinematic.
What does this map behold?
- 60 Challenge Rooms (difficulty ranging from Farewell to 7d)
- 16 Strawberries
- 1 Crystal Heart
- A Particularly Lengthy, Puzzling, and Tasking Final Screen
Save states and/or debugging as practice in the final room is fair game as far as my opinion goes, just make sure you beat it in full eventually ;)
Wavedash, Wallbounce, Extended Hyper, Neutral, Jellyvator, Extended Superbounce, Extended Cloud Superbounce, Cloud Wavedash, Cloud Hyper, Cloud Spike Jump, Seeker Superbounce, Reverse Wavedash, Theovator, Theo Regrab, Cornerjump, Puffer Superboost, Bunnyhop
ThetaGC - Main play-tester and the reason Midnight Aquarium is being released; this map was nearly cancelled just a little bit ago, but with some good advice and a lot of support from Theta, I was able to rework some stuff and get this version out. There was a lot I had planned initially that has not made the cut now, but thanks to Theta's aid and kind words, you all get to see the hard work I was able to put into this project. For that I am eternally grateful. Also, Theta gives great notes. Here's his Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/thetagc), Youtube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCeXBzXub_8ePw5Bg0N6ISnw), and GameBanana (https://gamebanana.com/members/1740265)!
Cabob - Main play-tester and the FMOD guy. Produced the audio banks and guids after my miserable attempt at understanding FMOD led to some really janky mixing and looping. The map would have not sounded anywhere near as good as it does now without Cabob's help. He also helped me with some random stuff early on in the process, when I was so clueless I could barely understand the wiki. Thanks for helping see this project through! Here's his GameBanana (https://gamebanana.com/members/1734740); give his map Frozen Heights a go!
30chad03- Main play-tester and sprite-work for the blobfish (also shout-out to Eric Barone, creator of Stardew Valley, and whose blobfish sprite we drew great inspiration from). He really helped bring the Blobfish to life with some serious re-coloring and reshaping of my shoddy personal model. Here's his Youtube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCec1UPCCsbVEOsWU5WtdYqQ).
And of course, thanks to all the other play-testers who helped with the early rooms; BigKahuna, Mineman, and Donker19.
Further acknowledgements to 0x0ade for the creation of Everest and the entire Ahorn team for making this creative venture possible, as well as all the creators whose Helpers significantly, well, helped, the map become what it is today. Thank you MunTheory, Max480, Cruor, Marshall H, JaThePlayer, and DemoJameson!
