fw_enclosure is the first stage of the stock map Enclosure, but stripped of obstacles as much as feasibly possible in order to be compatible with the FortWars custom game mode. RED has 2 minutes and 30 seconds to place props on the map which will hinder the BLU team's progress, while BLU's only objective is to push the cart to the end within 6 minutes after setup time. The optimal strategy for RED all along and around the payload track, in case BLU pushes close to the end goal.
Some areas were restructured and retextured in order to minimise obstructions baked into the map, and the timer was shortened from roughly 8 minutes based on private map testing. It is possible to place props in such a way that they are in the way of the payload or can be destroyed by the other team during setup time, but these bugs will not be fixed as doing so would negatively impact the gameplay.
You are free to run this map on your server so long as FortWars is running. While possible, this map is not intended to be played as a regular payload map.
I found this map quite fun when both teams planned out strategies to take the win (more on this though). The map only takes the first stage, which is fine since FortWars' maps are small, and has remixed it to be compatible with the game mode.
However, I think the reason why I've experienced an unbalance in blue winning most of the time, is because that red team has to focus on building as a team while also defending as a team. Also, the first stage of enclosure is blue biased anyways.
Overall, the map is great fun with a full server, and is a great addition to any FortWars server.
