Vancouver Velocity (?????? ???) is a track that appears as the signature course of the Vancouver Tour. The track layout starts in the street next to the "Vancouver Convention Centre" and proceed in a forest.

This mod allows this track to be played on the Mario Kart 8 Wii U version, I provided two versions for it, one for the Wii U and another for the CEMU Emulator. Both versions are pretty the same, I just adjusted the lighting for the Wii U version because it was too bright. You can use the CEMU version on Wii U or vice-versa, it will work, but it can be different from what you see on the screenshots (Took from the Wii U version, the video is recorded from CEMU). I kinda apologize for some textures that are badly rendered, I took me like a good 30min to render a texture. Hope you enjoy it!

This mod includes:
  • The course model extracted from the Mario Kart Tour 1.6.0 PAL Vancouver Tour
  • New textures made with Blender and improved with Photoshop (Rendered at 4096x4096 and lowered to 2048x2048 and 1024x1024)
  • Alb, Nrm, Spm, Emm, Light Maps
  • Objects (Bats [In-game: Basabasa], Coin, Item Box, Boats [In-game: WPBoats(X)], Toad, Yoshi, ShyGuys [In-game Heyho] and Moon)
  • Lap Path
  • Item Path (Should be better now from the other Custom Tracks)
  • Advanced Enemy Path (CPU driving area with drifting support)
  • KCL (Define collisions on the map)
  • Background Music (1, 2 and Final Lap)
  • Textures Animations (Glide Board)
  • A mini-map
  • Custom Intro-Camera (A bit glitchy at the end, I apologize for that)
  • A Custom PTCL (Define particles textures and color for the particles effect)
  • Particles: Aurora, Fire

Notes
Known bugs:

  • The track uses custom textures. Mario Kart Tour uses Vertex Color instead of textures, the problem with that is the port to Mario Kart 8 who doesn't support that. I had to transform Vertex Color into textures so that why some of them looks bad and I apologize for that :/
  • The KCL is near to reach the poly limit. I tried my best, but it might bug sometimes.
  • The Bgenv can glitch if the camera is too close from the character
