    I like this version of Westwood a lot. There's a lot of added paths that helped shake up gameplay.

    My only real gripe is there's too much crates in the middle of the street. Part of what I like about Westwood is the standoff. Because of the open space and the access to roofs, neither team can get an advantage that easily. Getting in-close requires passing thru buildings.

    Can you make a version with those crates removed?...

    Good:
    1) You deleted both westwoodwood2019 files ( res & txt ) from the res-file.

    Bad:
    1) Your res file now includes itself which is totally unnecessary.
    de_westwood2019.res reads:
    - de_westwood.wad
    - de_westwood_hd.wad
    - timmy.wad
    - maps/de_westwood2019.bsp
    - maps/de_westwood2019.res
    - maps/de_westwood2019.txt

    2) "Warning: Unable to open sound/nm_goodbadugly.wav for transfer" is still there. Either include the sound ( + add in res-file ) or update your map so it doesn't check for this file.

    3) You haven't fixed the texture glitch on top of the barn opposite T-spawn.

    Good remake of the remake, but the crates are to much and movement will be suck. I don't recomend this map to be using in some server.

    I found some errors.

    This is what your res-file reads:
    - de_westwood.wad
    - de_westwood_hd.wad
    - de_timmy.wad
    - maps/westwoodwood2019.res
    - maps/westwoodwood2019.txt

    You can't include a res-file in a res-file. Well, technically you can. But this is not how it should be.

    Because of this, my console also gives the following errors when launching this map in developer mode:
    - Warning:  Unable to open de_timmy.wad for transfer
    - Warning:  Unable to open maps/westwoodwood2019.res for transfer
    - Warning:  Unable to open maps/westwoodwood2019.txt for transfer
    - Warning:  Unable to open sound/nm_goodbadugly.wav for transfer

    I can run this map without the following files:
    - maps/westwoodwood2019.res ( already de_westwood2019.res present )
    - maps/westwoodwood2019.txt ( already de_westwood2019.txt present )
    - de_timmy.wad ( already timmy.wad present )
    - sound/nm_goodbadugly.wav ( not in archive but wav-files are never a cause of not being able to run a map )

    So delete the westwoodwood2019 res- & txt-file from your current res-file ( de_westwood2019.res ) and for the wav-file; either include it or change so it does not check for this ( this is your preference of course ).

    If you're confused of what I'm trying to say, this is how your archive should look like:
    - de_westwood.wad
    - de_westwood_hd.wad
    - timmy.wad
    - maps/de_westwood2019.bsp
    - maps/de_westwood2019.res
    - maps/de_westwood2019.txt
    - sound/nm_goodbadugly.wav( depending if you're wanna include it or not )

    I also found a texture glitch:
    The barn on the opposite site of T-spawn has bad ( see-through ) texture on top of it. If your terror, climb on the building with the long ladder. From there, jump from the slope roof onto the barn. Climb on top of it and you'll see what I mean.

    For the rest:
    Pro's:
    - Added ladders.
    - Added passages through some walls.
    - Added crates for cover & strategy.
    - Added crates to be able to reach certain area's from other directions.
    - Some ropes being replaced by planks.
    - The overall light effect.

    Cons:
    - Some roofs have too many crates. A few less would be better.
    - The crate between the first and second building next to T-spawn is too big. Use a couple of smaller crates ( for example: 2 on top of each other adjacent to the building and 1 next to those ) or remove the big one and leave empty.
    - The texture of the covered wagon & the open wagon. It looks like a mixtured surface of metal & concrete. While I think it is supposed to be wood.
    - No custom skybox. Maps, in most cases, look very nice but often lack a custom skybox so it either uses the skybox from previous map or the default one "morningdn.tga, ..." when no skybox is included. It's 2019, be creative. If you can't make one yourself, at least search for an already existing one. A skybox can make or break a map. But this is a personal opinion though.
    - The errors/glitches mentioned above.
    - The length of this post.

    Ps: Would love to see more work from you in the future like you mentioned. Especially map remakes like this.
