  • Removal More unnecessary entities removed.
  • Removal The fishing boat has been removed since it isn't really helpful strategically (and took a damn lot of precache slots).
  • Adjustment Two breakable doors at the tunnel now require a few more shots to completely break them open.
  • Adjustment Updated RES file to correspond with this update.
  • Addition Navmesh from directly from CSO files.
This update is pretty much for balancing purpose, as well as freeing more resources. However as StevenKal suggested, the map needed a complete workaround to free up all unnecessary brushes as much as possible. But since I'm not a skilled mapper, I need your help.

Also included in this update is the bot navmesh that is made by Nexon themselves, found in CSO's game files. Overall they have much better behaviors than the auto-generated ones, however the navmesh is quite buggy and some bots may act unusually as the file is designed to work with CSO bot system (which is heavily modified CZ bot) instead of CZ one itself.

This maybe (not) the final update (yet).

Alcatraz - Bomb/Defuse

Counter-terrorists: Multiple terrorist activities were detected around an abandoned prison.
Defuse all bombs in the targeted area and annihilate all terrorists.

Terrorists: The Terrorist carrying the C4 must place the bomb at either the shower room or the mortuary.

Some things to note:
- The map was originally unplayable because it exceeded the original GoldSrc's precache limit. By removing unnecessary models around the map, removing features not available in CS/CZ and re-arranging brushes, the map is now playable without altering its strategical structure.
- Some of this map's section was taken from bluerize's Alcatraz, which is a custom map for CS/CZ.
- If you still encounter precache limit error, it maybe because you're having custom contents that reduced the available precache slots. Please read the requirement below.

    Look interesting and well-made, but I think it should be reworked again.
    I mainly mean about the default resources used. It can run on CZ, but about models/sprites and a "resources counter plugin" (AMX + it, nothing else), the server is exactly at the limit (512 used), one more by a plugin and this crash!
    And about total resources shared with clients, it's at 1267 (close to default 1280 GoldSrc supported).
    I count 300 brushes, I think that kind of models should be reduced to like 250 to prevent limit from being reached so easily, and allow 3rd-party plugins to have some models/sprites precached...
    Probably you can check for brushes having similar size and port them into standalone models (models/de_alcatraz/*.mdl), or maybe modelise them in the map itself (no model, just a "model" which is textured in the map like a wall texture, but which is not a model, I've already seen this on some maps).

    I think there is a bit too much of bombsites tags ("B"...)!

    You should provide the detail textures (gfx/detail/*.tga), CS clients have not those files in the game, it's more CZ specific.
