SUMMARY:

Another futuristic cavern map in the same style as DM_Cavernous. All weapons are present except tripmines and the RPG. Recommend 8 players max.

STORY:

Deep in the steamy jungles of the Congo, Great Dane continues the centuries-long tradition of brutally exploiting this war-torn African region for its mineral wealth. Complex 374-2A was established with the help of a generous donation to the local Congolese warlord, who allotted the mining conglomerate a parcel of land deep within what is supposed to be protected Silverback Gorilla territory. Great Dane, in typical fashion, isn't about to let a little thing like a few endangered species get in their way -- there's gold in them hills! Meanwhile, the ecoterrorist group Eden's Guard have taken particular exception to this latest affront by Great Dane, and have launched a clandestine assault on the mining complex to shut it down for good...

    Yeah! Glad to see you back with one new good looking creation!
    I really love the kind of "unique" textures you're using which add more realism to the old GoldSrc engine, and show us that it has still potential to make us enjoy good looking maps where nowadays a lot of people move toward more recent games not only for gameplay, but for realism/graphisms.
    So having good mappers who perform quality work (well designed, etc.) is really appreciable.
    ... rather than some others who do some "horrible & cubic" maps at the 20 years old style, in a few minuts...

    I've notified that you "enlighted" it a bit more than some others beeing sometimes too much dark (as we can see on some screens you've posted where this is almost a full black ScreenFade! PS: I think you should reupload some screenshots of some of your maps where we see "almost nothing" on them.).
    So at least I didn't need to manually change the light style for this new one! (but I also play with the f.lux program that adds some darkness so it's understandable).

    By the way, I'm a big fan of your maps and I run most of them on my CZ deathmatch server (yes, originaly made for Half-Life DM, but for sure, playable on Condition Zero!).
    Then the shutters... I often play like a child with! ON/OFF/ON/OFF!
    I hope we'll see some new upcoming maps soon (as Slag Pit...).

R_Speeds vary widely between 200-1100. Average WPOLY is about 650 and peak is 1115. Due to the use of ALPHATEST sprites, and heavy use of translucency, this map will not run well in Software Mode.
